China!

I’ve been caught in a whirlwind of things since the COVID-19 pandemic, not the least of which was a trip to China in 2023, from February to June, courtesy the China International Press Communication Centre – a four-month programme designed to give journalists more information about China, from its governing process to its famous tourism sites.

I visited yet again in October 2023 at the kind invitation of the Chinese Foreign Ministry for the 2023 Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, where we were taken on a tour of the original Silk Road cities within Shanxi Province.

I learned so much about Chinese culture, and being of part Chinese descent I truly awakened a lot about myself I hadn’t been familiar with before. I plan to write a lot more about my observations but in the interim, here are some videos I’ve done from my travels; enjoy!
